The New York Film Academy Athletics Department is committed to supporting a strong academic, professional, and creative environment for our students.  As a College of Visual and Performing Arts, we aim for a high level of performance in athletics as well as academia, providing opportunities to enhance camaraderie and team-building skills sets while striving for team and individual achievement.  

Location: 1st Floor Riverside Building

List of Services: 

  • Participate in competitive sports leagues throughout Burbank and Los Angeles area
  • Receive top of the line instruction from our renowned and established coaching staff
  • Participate in exclusive athletics social events
  • Stay in shape and workout on a consistent basis
  • Provide networking opportunities throughout NYFA and within the athletic community

1. When do the athletic teams play?

2. Do students have to pay in order to join a sports team?

  • No cost to participate. 

3. In what leagues do the sports team participate?

  • Multiple sports teams compete within the Burbank Adult Sports Leagues and the Los Angeles Municipal Sports League.  

4. Where do the sports teams practice and play?

  • Almost all sports teams practice and compete at gyms or fields within Burbank, Studio City, and Glendale.
