How do I change my password?
After logging in, click 'Edit My Account Settings' located in the 'User Menu' on the homepage.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
A link to reset the password can be sent to the account's email address at http://hub.nyfa.edu/user/password. Click the link in the email to log in and change the password. Click here for more detailed instructions.
I can't find someone in the directory.
Not all users are visible in the directory. A user must first opt-in to have a public profile.
How do I make my profile visible in the directory?
After logging in, click 'Edit My Account Settings' located in the 'User Menu' on the homepage. Make sure 'Public Profile' is checked.
How do I change my profile picture?
After logging in, click 'Edit My Account Settings' located in the 'User Menu' on the homepage.
How do I change my profile details?
After logging in, click 'Edit My Profile' located in the 'User Menu' on the homepage.
I changed my profile but now my profile page says 'Pending Approval'.
All profile changes need approval by a site administrator before they are visible. Please allow 2 business days for this process.
STUDENTS / ALUMNI
I am a current student. How do I post a project?
Click 'Create Project Ad' located on the Projects Board. Please allow 2 business days for this process.
I am an alumnus. Can I post a project on the Project Board?
Only current students may post on the project board.
I am a current student. Can I view the Jobs Board?
Only alumni may view jobs. Current students can only view on-campus jobs.
I just graduated, how do I switch my account to an alumni account?
Student accounts will automatically be switched to alumni 4 weeks after graduation.
FACULTY / STAFF
Can I post a project on the Project Board?
Only current students may post on the project board.
Can I post an event in the Events Calendar?
Please contact your department coordinator to post NYFA events.
