Water is a global resource that brings communities together, and it’s a part of everyday life for every one of us. We want you to share your views and experiences with us.

During the 8th World Water Forum which will take place in Brasilia, Brazil, on March 18th to 23rd 2018, we will showcase the 60 best short videos in an initiative called “The Voice of Citizens”.

But hold on! You don’t have to be an expert. We are giving the chance for anyone, and everyone to have the chance to be a part of this, and give their contribution. We are inviting people from all over the world to participate.

The objective is to stimulate a debate and the evolvement of society with water-related themes, as well as spread innovative ideas engaging everyone at the 8th Forum.

The videos can be filmed in any format, even cellphones. The videos can be of up to 4 minutes and showcase water as the theme. This can include experiences, good practices, and/or beautiful visuals, as long as the theme is water.

An international jury will choose the five best videos, which will each receive U$ 400,00. The videos will be showcased at the Filmambiente Festival in the category “The Voice of the Citizens” during the 8th Forum in Brazil.
