Have a great short movie under 10 minute-long and looking for your big break? The AT&T Entertainment Project is an open competition seeking imaginative, undiscovered short films from aspiring filmmakers and students. The competition seeks to identify talented storytellers from across the U.S. who want their voices heard.
Submit for a chance to win up to $20,000 in cash, meetings with industry execs, and a chance to have your project air on the AT&T AUDIENCE Network. Finalists will be flown to Las Vegas to showcase their films during the AT&T Developer Summit, January 3-4, 2017.
HOW TO SUBMIT
All submissions must be under 10 minutes long and created after January 1, 2014. There is no fee to enter – limited to the first 300 submissions!

Professional Filmmaker Awards

Our panel of judges will evaluate and score the eligible submissions according to the below criteria:
- Creativity and Originality
- Entertainment Value
- Characterization
- Production Value
Entry Requirements*
- Submissions will be accepted from October 12-November 18, 2016
- There is NO FEE for submitting a film to this Competition
- "Student" means a person who is at time of entry and winner selection a current undergraduate (4-year or 2-year), graduate, doctoral, or postdoctoral student at an accredited college or university. Entries will also be accepted from students who recently graduated during the 2016 calendar year.
- Only original works are accepted. Submitting parties must hold complete ownership and rights of submitted product.
- We are seeking films in: action/adventure, comedy, documentary, drama, experimental, horror, sci-fi, and thriller
- All films must be shorter than 10 minutes in duration (including credits and titles)
- Films must be shot at a minimum 1080p HD resolution
- Submitted work must have been completed after January 1, 2014
- Films with prior commercial distribution or broadcast within the US are NOT eligible to submit. In the case of small non-commercial, non-publicized showings, we reserve the right to waive this rule.
- Entries will be capped at 300, one submission per entrant
- The top three Finalists from the Professional category and the Student Category Winner must be available to attend AT&T Developer Summit on January 3-4, 2017 in Las Vegas. Airfare and hotel accommodations will be provided for one member from each team.
