We will will be accepting applicants on a rolling admissions beginning in April 2017 through December 2017. Selected fellows will be notified of acceptance within four-six weeks of their submission.  Mentors will be linked to selected fellows based on mentor’s availability and genre choice. We have an expanding list of mentors who have major motion pictures and/or written top-rated television series. It’s a very experienced group and they are committed to paying it forward in helping aspiring professional writers to break into the industry. Fellowships are all $75. (Use the code JULY2017 to receive a 20 percent discount on any WFW fellowship or individual script consultation.)

Diversity Theme
The Diversity Theme will be accepting applicants on a rolling admissions beginning in April 2017 through December 2017. The fellowship is open to all minority writers as well as writers (Caucasian writers included) whose scripts feature diversity-themed subject matter. Examples include Straight Outta Compton, Woman on Top, Moonlight, Eat Drink Man Woman, … (If you’re not sure if your script qualifies, contact us at entry@writers-for-writers.com

Female Theme Screenwriting
WritersForWriters announces their first annual Female-Theme Screenwriting Fellowship to screenwriters seeking a one year mentorship with mentors from WFW. The fellowship is open to all female writers as well as writers (male writers included) featuring female-themed subject matter. Examples include: Hidden Figures, The Girl on the Train, Feud:Bette and Joan, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot… (If you’re not sure if your script qualifies, contact us).

Indie Filmmaker Theme
The Indie Filmmaker Fellowship is open to all filmmakers attached to an unproduced, feature-length narrative film with an aim towards production. Directing teams and writer-director teams are welcome to apply on a single application. The fellows will be mentored by the WritersForWriters team as well as indie film producer Stephen Nemeth (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Sessions).
