The New York Film Academy is pleased to announce it is now taking submissions for the 2018 Los Angeles Live Score Film Festival.
This a very exciting opportunity for LA-based NYFA students and recent alumni to work with -- and have their short films scored for free by -- professional composers.
Here’s what we are looking for:
• Shorts under 6 minutes long, although we will consider films up to 10 minutes long.
• Films that do not yet have a final soundtrack or composed score. They can have library music or temp music for their soundtrack or no soundtrack at all.
• Final cuts or fine cuts that can be finalized by May 21, 2018.
• All genres.
• If not filmed in English, the film must be subtitled in English.
Do you have a project that fits this description? Are you a current NYFA student or alum who graduated after January 1, 2015? Then consider submitting your film!
Go here to read more about the festival rules and prizes, then complete the Google form and send us a private URL to your film by Sunday, April 15, 2018 at 11:59pm PDT.
Questions? Contact Crickett Rumley at festivalsla@nyfa.edu.
We look forward to seeing your shorts!
