Our panel of Hollywood industry professionals is looking for the next great drama and comedy TV pilots for network, cable and online platforms! Accepting web series and non-traditional series pilots as well. 3 winners will receive cash awards and introductions to industry professionals!

  • Our industry judges are looking for fresh voices in comedy and drama writing for television and web series! Our mission is to connect great TV writers with great TV producers, managers and development executives.

  • Lindsay Golder is screenwriter represented by manager Jamie Wager at Capital Creations, represented at CAA, and currently staffed on the hit Fox sitcom THE MICK! And recently she penned an editorial for Entertainment Weekly! She is also the 2014 ScreenCraft Comedy Contest finalist, a 2nd Annual ScreenCraft Fellowship finalist, a 2014 ScreenCraft Pilot Launch Contest semifinalist, and a 2015 Pilot Launch grand prize winner for her web series pilot Celebration.
  • Jen Grisanti is a writing instructor for NBC’s Writers on the Verge and former network executive. As a consultant, Jen’s students have sold 40 pilots (5 have gone to series) and she has helped to staff over 75 writers on TV shows.

RULES:

  • Submissions are accepted via electronic submission on this website only, between June 20th, 2017 and September 13th, 2017.
  • Entry fee for each entry is $39 until the July 13th early deadline at 11:59PM PST, and then $59 until the final / late deadline on September 13th at 11:59PM Pacific Time.
  • There is no limit to the number of projects you may submit.
  • Entries must be received on or before the deadlines and submission fee payment must be made in full at time of the submission. All entry fees are non-refundable
  • All submitted material must be original, and all rights must be wholly owned by the writer(s).
  • Material must be submitted by the writer. Material written by writing teams must be submitted by one of the writers, with consent of the other(s).  All writers must be credited on title page.
  • If a writing team is chosen as a winner, prizes will be given to the person who submits the project. Each team is responsible for dividing or sharing the prize money.
  • Substitutions of either corrected pages or new drafts of the entered material are allowed. Please upload via the link in your submission confirmation email.
  • It is recommended that original material be registered with the WGA or The Library of Congress before submitting to any competition, however we do not require registration.
  • All ownership and rights to the scripts submitted to this contest remains with the original rights holders.
