WICF is accepting comedic short films that are between 1 to 10 minutes. This contest is a great opportunity for filmmakers to submit comedic content that they have already created with a chance to win a one-on-one mentoring call with Writer, Producer, Director – Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, The Heat, Spy). All genders are welcome to submit. For films to qualify, the protagonist of the film must be a woman, and a woman must hold AT LEAST ONE of the following roles: Producer, Director, or Writer.
About Paul Feig
Paul Feig is an American actor, film director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for directing the 2011 film Bridesmaids, featuring Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy and the 2016 film Ghostbusters also starring Wiig and McCarthy. Feig also directed the comedy films The Heat (2013) starring McCarthy and Sandra Bullock, and Spy (2015) which stars McCarthy, Jason Statham, and Jude Law.
