As we come to the end of the second week of online classes, many of you are navigating the challenges of balancing class projects and feelings of self-isolation due to COVID-19. Being in Los Angeles during the COVID-19 outbreak has created a new demand for all of us to feel safe, connected, and heard. Some of you may be resting easy watching your favorite shows, playing games, talking to friends and relaxing. For others, this time may be one of stress, anxiety and unease. Feelings such as loneliness, apathy, fear, anger, and uncertainty can sometimes be helpful to explore with a licensed therapist on staff. We are here for you and want to support you. Explore communication skills and working as a team, develop a better sense of boundaries, and assess alternatives to meet one another’s needs.
Loneliness During a Lonely Time – A Processing Workshop, Thursday (April 2) at 1pm
Explore topics of freedom, meaning, isolation, and self-care. Develop a stronger sense of self-awareness and self-confidence, and a better understanding of what it means to feel alone at a time of struggle.
