As we start remote teaching in our classes, it is important to remember that one of the primary purposes of this transition is to increase social distancing.
As such, please let your students know that they should each be attending their online classes via individual computers or devices - no screen sharing, as this will force a proximity that would complicate our efforts at social distancing.
If there is a legitimate reason - either student need or nature of classwork - we can certainly discuss exceptions to this policy. But as a general rule, please enforce a "one student, one device" expectation for measuring attendance and participation for our online classes.
