Overview
Arclight Productions is offering a Documentary Editing Internship, geared towards individuals interested in non-fiction editing. Interns selected for this position will work directly with an Arclight producer/director and other team members, contributing to the process of creating documentary content. 
 
Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
 
- logging, syncing, and organizing footage
- ingesting and transcoding media to storage servers
- basic editing and assembly of sequences
- creating graphics such as title cards and lower-thirds
 
Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Encoder are required. Experience with After Effects, Resolve, and Photoshop is a plus. Knowledge of current documentary films, including documentary styles and trends, is encouraged.
 
This internship is expected to run six to eight weeks and requires a time commitment of 12-24 hours per week during the internship term. Note that Arclight's offices are closed during national holidays.
 
This internship is unpaid for the purposes of professional experience and/or college credit. Arclight offers no promise of paid employment at the end of the internship.
