These are paid internships that will start in January but the company would like to start meeting candidates now.  

This is from China Television Corporation located in the city of Glendale.  We currently have some internships positions available, (all of those positions are paid, in-person, daily responsibilities full time/part-time) please kindly help to let students know those opportunities.

1. Post-Production Intern

Job Description

• Assembling raw footage and transferring or uploading to a computer
• Following a script, screenplay or outline
• Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs
• Inputting graphics to enhance footage
• Digitally splicing film and video and synchronizing them into one rough cut file
• Improving and correcting lighting, coloring and faulty footage
• Working closely with directors to present a final product that matches his or her vision

2.     Production Intern

Job Description

• Communicate with directors, managers and other members of staff to ensure a smooth running of the project.
• Research topics using various sources, including video archives, the internet, relationships, and others as needed.
• Support staff by taking detailed notes during meetings, translating manuscripts between Chinese and English, organizing the footage, and performing other tasks as required.
• Assist as needed in all production components, including story development, sound, lighting, filming, editing, and postproduction.
• Perform other duties as requested by staff to ensure all necessary tasks are performed in a proficient manner that adheres to the quality expected from the company.

3.     Intern TV Director

Job Description

• Candidates will be responsible for pre-production planning, content design, program scheduling, on-site shooting, and post-production; 
• Candidates will also need to coordinate the internal communication during the production phase of the program;  
• Responsibilities also includes supervising the progress of all programs made by CTC to ensure presentation quality.  
• Communicate with directors, managers and other members of staff to ensure a smooth running of the project.

4.     Program Planning/ Screen Writing Intern

Job Description

• Associate complete topic selection, planning, and coordination of TV features; 
• Help Director in film and television script editing, content production, and screen writing;  
• Have strong communication skills in interviews and good knowledge in TV program production; 
• Prior success stories and bilingual language in Chinese will be plus. 

5.     Videographer Intern

Job Description

• Candidates need to be skillful in using various standard-definition and high-definition equipment, with basic knowledge of lighting;  
• Candidates shall be able to shoot advertisements, documentaries, interviews or other kinds of TV programs; 
• Good command of videography and visual description is necessary.
