Overview
Mandalay Sports Media (MSM) and Tollin Productions is a multi-faceted production company
specializing in all kinds of content both in sports and beyond. We are currently seeking interns
for Fall/Winter 2022. We are currently accepting both remote and in-person interns, and it is our
goal to have a healthy mix of both in our Fall/Winter class. We create high quality content in all
formats (scripted, unscripted, documentaries) and across all media platforms (television, film,
digital).
 
Our internship program is broken up into three tracks: development, production, and post
production. All three departments are designed to prepare interns to enter the entertainment
workforce and is focused on giving students a hands-on experience in the entertainment
industry. In addition to daily administrative and creative tasks, interns will be exposed to
executives and producers via one-on-one interaction, and participate in our weekly production
meetings where students are encouraged to participate. Script coverage, transcriptions,
research projects, deck composition, etc. are heavily needed.
The position is unpaid but can serve as academic college credit.
Minimum Qualifications:
 
1. Ideally interested in development, production, or post and has a passion for television
and film.
2. Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Experience with Google Drive, Outlook & MS Office.
4. Comfortable going out on runs and handling petty cash.
5. Can work a minimum of two 8-hour days at 16 hours a week, but 3 days at 24 hours a
week is preferred.
6. Must be comfortable answering the phone and using proper phone etiquette.
7. Must be proactive and a self-starter.
8. Loves dogs
 
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Has experience with any of the following programs:
a. Adobe Creative Cloud
b. ProTools
c. Avid
2. Past editing experience is a major plus.
3. Has experience in writing script coverage or reading scripts in general.
4. Can perform basic IT troubleshooting.
