Marti Reppetto
Associate Librarian
Before joining NYFA, Marti started a library from scratch for another performing arts school in 2012. Prior to becoming a librarian, she worked for a documentary film distribution company called “Filmakers Library” and later for a Philadelphia-based independent record label where she did PR work for – among others – El Vez “the Mexican Elvis.” She also had her fifteen seconds of fame as an on-screen extra in a Madonna movie. Along with silent and foreign films, she enjoys any production that features music and/or the 1960's, especially the cinema of Samuel Z. Arkoff and AIP International. Professionally, Marti is focused on database management and enhancing discoverability of new online resources for the arts. For a fun day off, she likes to wander the city with friends, visiting galleries, museums and parks.
