Welcome to Fall Semester! On September 14, 2020, NYFA LA held Fall Convocation to kick-off the new academic semester. At the gathering, students, faculty, and staff were invited to hear campus updates while also learning about resources and tips for a successful semester.

- Tips and resources for academic and Zoom success in an online environment from Dr. Mike Civille, Dean of Academic Advising, and Dr. Mary Samuelson, Dean of General Education
- Tips and resources for emotional and mental wellness in a time of unknowns from Dr. Stanley Tam, Director of Counseling Services, and Kathia Rabelo, Lead Therapist
- Upcoming events, opportunities to connect, and things to look forward to from Dr. Susan Ashe, Dean of Students
- Closing, additional COVID updates, and well-wishes for the Fall Semester from Dan Mackler, Dean of NYFA LA
