Logline: A prosecutor must decide whether or not to try a ten year old of 1st degree murder as an adult.
Synopsis: Barry Cheatham, a prosecutor, has a gang on trial for street violence and murder. Among those on trial is a ten year old who is part of the gang. Jennifer Howe, a fellow prosecutor, must convince Barry to lower the charges for the ten year old while Barry must defend his position of charging the kid as an adult.
My name is David Bockenkamp, and I am in the Bachelor's of Acting program. This project is for my thesis. It is a four page scene, mostly dialogue, nothing complicated, shot here at NYFA's Riverside building. The scene is set in a prosecutor's office. The shoot is for one day only.
What crew positions are needed: A Director of Photography, a Gaffer, a 1st AC.
The camera being used: Canon 5D Mark 3 with a Canon 24-70mm Zoom Lens.
What is gained: For shooting, there will be food provided, IMDB credit, and a copy of the film when editing is completed.
