Logline: A recently disabled athlete is sent a robotic caretaker to care for him as his condition deteriorates and his mental health declines.
Casting Breakdown:
[JONATHAN]
19 to 29 years old, man, athletic build. Jon was a former college athlete before his disability rendered him unable to compete. Now a dropout, Jon has become a recluse with no aspirations in life. He is a shell of his former outgoing self. A lost soul. Some of his charm and dry wit still remains but it rarely comes out. His only goal in life is to numb himself to the pain and avoid his emotions. However as he's forced to confront them, he falls deeper into his depression which leaves him contemplating suicide.
[NATALIE]
20 to 30 years old, woman, unassuming with no overt physical characteristics. Plain. Natalie is a highly advanced medical robot sent to take care of Jonathan. She cares deeply for him and only wants to help him get better. She is highly advanced and lifelike. Her mannerisms are mostly normal with a very slight robotic element. Her eye contact is always direct and intense which can be unsettling at times.
[DAVID]
25 to 35 years old, man. Warm and friendly. David was good friends with Jon but has been shut out by him. He cares for Jon and wants to help him but isn’t sure how.
[DOCTOR]
30 to 50 years old, man. A professional and caring Doctor who is considered for Jonathan's wellbeing.
