Project Description
Hello,
We are looking for a skilled and talented set designer, who can add to the look of the short film "Bento".
The shoot will take place from July 15 to July 17.
Director: Joseph Huang.
Compensation: Credit, a copy of the film and meals.
What is the film Bento about?
Bento stands for lunch box in Taiwanese.
A Taiwanese mother comes to America to take care of her daughter but her daughter feels burdened by her over protective mother. The traditional Taiwanese metal lunch box she prepares for her daughter, is causing her daughter to get mocked, since the girl's friends think it looks corny. The mother doesn’t know about this, she keeps making lunch for her daughter. The daughter comes to the realization that she can’t change the way her mother love her at the end, so she stops worrying about what other people think and ignores the stares of people as she takes out her lunch box and eats in peace.
