The Cloud Rider is a transmedia franchise that I'm creating and in January we're shooting the pilot of the webseries.
I need an actress for the lead, Celia, who is an energetic and optimistic 17-year-old woman. She comes from a family of carpenters but instead of following their lead, she decided to take a leap of faith and enter the cloudriding contest: her dream is to become the first woman to ever win it. When she was a child, her parents were working double for their family to survive so Celia spent most of her days following around the sons of her neighbour, play-training like they did. Her teenage years she spent alone in her room, prepping. When the contest finally opened, she secretly entered her name and traveled by herself up to the highest mountain to team up with Nephos, a 3000-year-old cloud who hasn't trained anyone in centuries. Celia is feisty, she likes to contradict everyone, and she knows how to defend herself. What Celia deeply needs though is to learn the values of friendship, loyalty and patience. 18 to looks 17.
