Intermediate Project
Synopsis : Natasha - a pregnant Russian woman, Li - a Chinese businessman, and Jared - an American "playboy", are stuck in an elevator. As the elevator stops Li and Jared start to panic. Jared, who tries to flirt with Natasha but is claustrophobic, he loses control. Li on the other hand is late to a very important business meeting. Since he can't speak English, Natasha and Jared assume that he is claustrophobic too, and try to calm him down. Everything turns to chaos, ending up in a fight between Jared and Li, which gets interrupted by Natasha's announcement that her water has broken. Forcing Li and Jared to team up and help the mother to deliver her first child.
Looking for three main actors.
1.Natasha Bobrova (30-40)) : Natasha Bobrova is a pregnant Russian woman from Moscow, who always knew how to stand up for herself. Her lover left her as soon as she told him about the pregnancy, but that could not stop her from going to America to fight for her dreams.
2.Jared Chaplin (20 - 30) : Jared is an American college student from Los Angeles. He is sweet and flirty, but hasn't been in a serious relationship, since his girlfriend broke up with him a couple of years ago. Now he is opened to discover new things, trying to prove himself over and over again
3.Li Lei (30-40) : Li was born and raised in the capital of China. He was trained to work as hard as possible to be successful. After getting a job in a Chinese bank he is about to have his first huge deal in Las Vegas. There is nothing that he wants than showing the world that he made it. (speaks ONLY CHINESE)
Casting on the 8th, 9th, 10th of September 2019 in NYFA classroom.
