Character Breakdown:

NOTE: The age ranges are SUBJECT TO CHANGE. Do NOT hesitate to audition or contact me only because of age unsuitability.

DEE –  THE LEAD. Already cast. (early 20s) Very on-principle. He obliviously (unknowingly) makes it all about himself; centers around himself, his needs and wishes. He needs to catch his flight.

DAVID – (early-to-mid 20s) Dee’s friend. Fits the definition of a good friend. Generally forgiving and well-tempered but blows up when fed up with bullshit.

SKETCHY GUY – (in his 30s) Slim, weird and unkempt look. Observant; watches Dee and curious in what’s going on with the chap. Doesn’t mean harm, but comes off that way to Dee.

DRIVER – (Mid-30s and up) Stern in first impression but very compassionate indeed.

Scenario: The story opens in the protagonist’s (Dee’s) apartment with Dee and his friend David having an argument over David’s ukulele, which Dee has broken. Dee is about to leave to the airport, and says hurtful and inconsiderate things to David, which makes David leave, upset. Dee brushes the situation off as he receives a message about his shuttle arriving in 10 minutes. Dee tries to leave the apartment and wait for the shuttle outside, when he realizes he doesn’t have the keys to lock the apartment. Dee then undertakes a series of actions as to try to lock his door somehow or at least have somebody trustworthy look after it. All of the actions prove futile, Dee loses his hope, but finds his friend David coming back and agreeing to look after the apartment. Dee gets into his shuttle, and sits in thought. He stops the shuttle, asks the driver to wait, and runs back to apologize to his friend. The end.
