Logline:
When four officers involved in the Rodney King beating are acquitted, Evelyn, a single mother, forbids her teenage son, Andre from participating in the growing riots in their neighborhood.
Character Breakdown:
Evelyn (mid 40s/early 50s) Evelyn is a single mother of a teenage black boy living in the South Central LA. She understands the fear and anger that her son feels but she wants to protect him at all cost.
Andre(17) Andre is a teenage boy who is tired of watching the people in his neighborhood be mistreated. When he sees an opportunity to stand up for them he decides to take it
