Project Description
This is a Filmmaking MFA Thesis, inspired by true practices in current South Africa, Kiba, the youngest of three sisters, comes of age during a traditional ‘Lobola’ (Bride Price) negotiation. While trying to prove her views on tradition she learns that cultural practices aren’t always as they seem.
This is a great project to gain more experience!
