Hello!
Logline: An unintentional cock-fight between two street guitar players over a misunderstood territorial spotlight.
Synopsis: Jim, a unkept hippy street guitar player, tries to earn a few dollars over a lousy performance. To his spot enters Casey, an amazingly charming spanish fellow with an amazing talent for the classic spanish guitar. Jim sees this as a threat to his show, even tho he can’t really compete with Casey, he decides to go for loudness instead of quality. Casey is complete oblivious to the fact that he stole Jim’s spotlight. Suddenly a wealthy stranger walks into the square heading towards Casey with a generous 50 dollar bill, this triggers Jim to try and compete against his new nemesis to win this wealthy stranger’s favour. Casey, trying to help out his friend in desperate need, decides to join Jim in his melody, which impresses the stranger that decides to leave them two 50 dollar bills, one for each. Casey, happy to help his newly friend, tries to reach into his cut of the earnings, when Jim closes the guitar case shut and walks away with a big smile towards Casey.
