All students enrolled at the New York Film Academy are expected to make themselves aware of and abide by the community’s standards of behavior as articulated in the Student Code of Conduct. NYFA’s Student Code of Conduct is in place to create a safe, healthy, and responsible community that allows NYFA students, faculty, and staff to be successful in their creative and professional endeavors.
If any NYFA faculty, staff, or student witnesses any student behavior that may violate NYFA’s Student Code of Conduct, they should fill out the online Incident Reporting Form. Once the form is received, the Dean of Students will review it to determine if a violation may have occurred. If so, a case will be opened and the student will receive a notification letter inviting them to discuss the incident. Please refer to our Student Code of Conduct Process Flowchart for additional information.
All academic misconduct violations should be reported to the Dean of Academic Advising, Dr. Mike Civille, through the Academic Integrity Violation Reporting Form.
Any concerns about student behavior should be reported to the Dean of Students, Dr. Susan Ashe, through the Behavioral Concerns Reporting Form.
